All my Caparison guitars have 3 holes one side, 1 on the other so you can use either pickup style. You'll probbaly just have to use regular pickup rings and drill the extra holes in it.
Because it allows the pickups height to be adjusted and tilted So you can get the pickup truly parallel to the string.
Here's a collectors grade Kerry King V. It was signed by him in Japan and the previous owner kept the guitar in the case. It's got no fret wear, barely a mark on the body, no chips out of the corners...
In the early 2000s Ibanez released a select few models to the Japanese market designed by the LA Custom Shop incorporating design elements often asked for by endorsees. This is the RG6CSD2, a 27 inch...
And this one is sold.
Haha you and everyone else it would appear. It'll be nice to get it playable again. The nut failed and I gotta install a new one.
I like my TAT colours. Red Sunset and the other one is yellow.
My first Caparison is up for sale as I'm going to replace it with a Dillinger II as I prefer the 2 humbucker setup. Well looked after and not toured or gigged. Comes with original pickups although...
Well I bought me another Caparison TAT II, this time a 1995 model in yellow. Dunno if it's original or refin and I don't care as the yellow looks baller. However, before I get it shipped from Japan...
Big time man. It's soon to be joined by another early TAT that I just ordered from Japan. ^_^
Haha well this guitar is a bicycle then, everyone's having a ride. :p
Yeah it's a brilliant guitar and feels very right in every way for me. I don't think this one will be leaving my collection at...
Well the serial is 010448 which has been mentioned before on the B Music forum in the dating thread so if that's your serial then this was your guitar at some point.
I know the pain of trying to...
So after much patient waiting and searching I now have another Caparison to add to the collection. My first TAT and it's a doozy.
...
Even including shipping and if you have to pay a brokerage fee, you'd save about $1000 on a TAT Special brand new. I import gear from Japan that can't be bought here or because it's cheaper (IE a...
Man if I had a Dellinger with clocks I would swap you in a heartbeat. I love the neck on my HGS and the pitch black ebony is awesome.
Not exactly a NGD but still. Quite a few people ask about what Chatting Bird stuff is like so I figure I'd share my experience with it and how it compares to a regular production Angelus. Here is is ...
Thankfully the AUD is awesome against the Yen. I have a friend who arranges purchases for me from Japanese music stores when I want things and the exchange rate means it's only about a 10% difference...
Personally I was left kinda cold by the new lineup. The loss of the regular TAT and the lack of regular Floyd Dellingers had me kinda scratching my head.
The only thing that made me go wow was...
That is gorgeous. I really wish Caparison would do a bound body Dellinger.
Well I finally got myself an Angelus and am absolutely floored by it. This was one of Jona Weinhofens ones, more specifically the one that got destroyed on tour (link here...
Well since it's here, may as well contribute to the thread. One of the shots from a burlesque event I was shooting. And no, she's not nude, hence it hasn't been pulled off Facebook and those guys are...
I can't have just one of ANYTHING! XD Hell, I have several 4x12 cabs, several heads, several preamps for my rack, several racks with guitars and so forth. Some would say I have an addiction, I...
Hey, name's Six. Been a long time Caparison fan but only recently have I decided to start getting some into my collection. Hopefully closing the deal on a TAT II next week once the gear I have for...
