+1 to Vader. I just got a 212 and it sounds thicker than my Marshall 412 with 75's, and as far as strictly metal, I also prefer it to my buddies Mesa cab with V30's

I like the Air Norton a lot for lead work, I've been using it with the Crunchlab in the bridge and it's an awesome combo, can be versatile but good for death metal too. Haven't tried the Tone Zone
Hey, that was me who sent you those drum tracks. If you want I'm happy to keep working on the drums for the project
That might work actually, I'm gonna look into that. Thanks for the idea
You think matching would be hard even on glossy black? Building it up I don't think would be too hard since I'd go slighlty above the clearcoat and then sand it down
I'm not set on filling it,...
Hey guys,
I was able to get an 2009 ESP MII locally for a steal because the guy that had it before me had a tone knob put in. I'm not really digging the tone knob since the install job was not the...
I got an old M-II Deluxe a little while ago and fell in love so i just got another old M-II last week
The parts are pretty rusty so I'm gonna clean what I can and replace what I can't. I'll look into the ToneZone, I haven't played an ash-bodied guitar before so I'm not sure what I'll end up putting...
Just got this in the mail yesterday.
The pics aren't the best, it looks way better in person which was a nice surprise. The hardware is pretty rusty and it needs a pickup change though.
Not sure...
Thanks guys, it was alot of work but we're happy with how it turned out.
Budd, we're both loving our guitars, I'm glad it worked out that we both ended up getting BRL axes
Hey guys,
I just uploaded our band's first video to Youtube, featuring a very nice Horus and TAT!

I don't have a 7 so not sure if I could do guitar stuff but I love programming drums and I have SD Metal Foundry so I could contribute in that regard.
I was trying to find some info on adding a floyd to a fixed bridge guitar and I found this guy on YouTube. All the routing was done with a handrill:

Yes sir, turns out they knew each other too. Small world. It's pretty sweet that we both have BRL Caparisons!
So, the other guitar player in my band just got his first Caparison, Horus Pro Black. Here's some pics of our two girls together.
Yeah I guess I should've posted them here. I think they're on page 55 or so of the Show us Yours thread
I'm loving my TAT, I actually did a little comparison between my ESP and the DN yesterday and the DN has a much thicker tone to it with a ton of clarity. Playability wise the DN is the first neck...
My buddy has the Paul Allender SE and I really didn't like it much when I tried it out. I found the neck was too thin and the bats threw me off because they're all over the place. I remember it...
Here is my Dark Night
Ya, the grey really does stand out, the pictures I've seen of it really don't do it justice, it's a stellar finish
Hey guys, I have my TAT II Dark Night at home now!!!!!!!
I went by BRL yesterday to pick it up and I am blown away. This is my first Caparison but it won't be my last.
It was awesome to meet...
Nice, I just checked em out, the snippets do indeed sound promising. Should be killer!
? I didn't even know they were working on a new album! I was disappointed in For the Revolution though, hopefully the new one is better
It's interesting to see the different stuff people here listen to. For me it's:
Fleshgod Apocalypse
Stormwarrior
Woe of Tyrants
Skeletonwitch
Olympus Mons
Kalmah
I guess I must have been wrong about the pickup. It was probably either the Gears Horus or the Chris Amott model. I just thought maybe someone knew about some other custom I haven't seen since there...
