    Gibson shred ex

bought a gibson shred ex real cheap. could nt resist it. play ok. it got a kahler bridge and it works.........not so good.floyd are superior in tuning stability.
and kahler parts are really difficult to get here in europe. but the guitar sounds heavy and nice

The first thing you need to do with that guitar is the 18v mod.

noobish question here: what's an 18v mod?

Im guessing it's about having the EMG pickup run on 2x9volt batteries instead of just one? oO
