    Hello from the UK

Been here a while, but not posted an intro thread!

Well i live in the uk near sheffield, and this site helped me buy a caparison horus ! so cheers!

im not in any bands or anything, and i only have two guitars! but i do have a good collection of amp heads (5 in total but ive been through 30) so if your struggling in what you want i might be able to help, just another name to go with all the helpfull people on here! im happy to help anytime, ull often catch me on hotmail at stigmata-@hotmail.co.uk when im doing university work.

Im 20 years old, still a young cat but i know my stuff! along with lots of other people on here, the reason i picked a caparison was not because of the looks or the hype and recommendation, or because olof and nils norberg use them (ok maybe a tad to do with that) but because that japanese man in his shed doesnt put tonnes and tonnes of laquer on the finish, it ruins the tone! he puts a tiny coat jut enough so grubby fingers dont damage the paint job! and thats what sold it for me, i have a caparison horus and a stripped down, and oiled ibanez 7620 both with dimarzio PAF in the neck and crunch lab in bridge.

    Hey welcome to the forum

How'd you fit a Dimarzio PAF in the neck position of a Horus??

aha its my mistake:P its a chopper in the horus! paf in my 7 string , the PAF sounds great, and the chopper sounds identical to the PAF ! good treble and bass response, with not a great amout of mids.

Welcome to the forum man. I always liked the chopper, it's one of my fav. neck pickups on a strat.

    Welcome here european dude ^^

Glad you enjoy your Horus. Having only 2 guitars isn't a big deal as long as you don't need some alternate tuning (wonder why Sudz here have so many Horus ?)
