    Do you normal attack flat, angled, or a mix of both?

    Always as flat as possible to get the smoothest picking sound. At a certain speed you just can't attack 100% flat, but I try not to exaggerate the angle.
    Btw my picking technique is somewhat similar to Shawn Lane's.

    I really like flat for leads and sweeps, and angled for adding extra crunch to rhythms
