    best cheap multi-effects processor?

You guys, I'm really trying to find a decently priced multi-effects processor... I had a Korg PX4, but got rid of it for a POS ZOOM G2.1u, and I just want something that can produce good progressive metal leads (Rob Marcello, Michael Romeo, etc etc), any suggestions???? THANKS!

Romeo used to use Line 6 Vetta II heads live.

So any pod should be able to give you the same tone.

I was not able to get a very good quality Romeo tone with the 2.0 generation of POD, I would label them just "usable". I think it's probably the same case for XT and X3. Sure Michael used them, but probably some other units and/or postprocessing before and after as well. I think your best chance is to go with the new HD generation, it was praised when it was launched as a big step forward.

If you are going to play at home and have an audio interface in your computer, you can also check some of the plugins out there: amplitube, guitar rig, overloud...

X3 is wheeeee altho I'm losing my mental health with my X3 live since it has some disciplinary problems... meaning it changes settings by itself in the middle of playing. -.- sucks.
