TAT II and Angelus neck profiles

    Hi guys,

I am looking to add a second Capa to the family and was wondering how different are the Angelus and TAT neck profiles. From Xykhron's video it is clear that they are both much thicker than the one on my Horus. However, I can't really tell how different is one from the other. Would anyone, who has played/owned both, mind commenting on the differences? Thanks

Hmm, actually I've tested a TAT (not sure about year of manufacturing) and found the neck to be roughly the same thickness than on my 2004 Horus. Slightly different shape though, not so round.

To my understanding Caparison necks do vary a little bit throughout the years...

Angelus neck is more C styled while TAT is more D-like.

Hi guys, thanks for the insights. Much appreciated. From your comments I believe that the neck on the TAT II will be bit more comfortable for me. I wish they make a them with a TOM bridge (like Joel Stroetzel's custom), that would be just prefect. I just don't use the FR that often... decisions, decisions...

Thanks a lot Trypios. I had totally forgotten about the Tremol-no. Sounds like a really good option. Now comes the tough part, finding a way to get a new guitar without the missus going bonkers.

BTW, maybe it's only me but wouldn't a TAT in dark night with a TOM bridge look sexy as hell??
