Private messaging inbox

Is there anyway we can have an option so that when an inbox is full and you try and send/receive a new message then the oldest message gets automatically deleted - rather than having to manually clear space. This is the way many forums do it (in my experience anyway) and is a very nice feature.

If this is already an option then can someone please point me to it! xD
