    So I got a new toy :D

Just arrived at my work today, looking forward to playing around with this when I get home.

Without, but I have a matrix Gt1000fx on the way, so that should take care of that
I was thinking about the powered version but then I thought if I didn't dig the built in PA I'd be kinda stuck.

Yeah, good point. My flatmates Rocktron Velocity 300 just arrived today, so I've just been testing that out with the Axe II / Axe Ultra. I wouldn't mind giving the matrix a go though, have only heard good things For me I still need to get a power amp for those "just in case" moments, but live I would still run to the PA, with a line to power amp just for backup. After playing live direct into the PA I don't think I could go back to cab + mic. It is just so insanely clear.

Maybe I'm just getting too old (read lazy) to want to deal with a bazillion knobs, switches and buttons.
