    Steven Wilson / Guthrie Govan

I've been a huge fan of Steven Wilson for a long time, and been enjoying all his other solo projects recently, this album arrived in the post the other day, Guthrie Govan playing lead on the whole thing (if you don't know who he is, do yourself a favour and check him out, he's phenomenal) I've been a fan of Guthrie since first hearing his 'Erotic Cakes' album, but his solo on this track.. no words..

Love Steven Wilson's work. Havn't heard any of Guthrie's music though, only knew he recently went from playing a Suhr to Charvel. Will definitely check out his work!

I was reading about the production of this album last night, Steven said that when Guthrie played this solo, Steven was almost in tears haha, all improvied played in one take, think they tried 2 takes, and this was the one that made it on the album, unedited (think hes using a sustainer in the neck there) not 100%..
