The best Caparison model/guitar you've ever played is...?

For me, the new Angelus I have is nothing short of amazing! I love the HGS concept, the feel of the guitar, the fretwork, awesome inlays, and just overall tone of the Angelus is just awesome. I liked my old Dellinger and liked my Horus but, the Angelus is in a whole other league!

How about you guys? I want to try out an HGS Horus at some point!

Oooo.. they are basically all on par with each other..but out of the 4 I've played (own).. the Chris Amott sig i find the nicest to play thus far. Very very close behind is my Horus HGS. Hard question feilong!!

My Horus HGS, but I believe the frets were leveled/crowned/polished by another luthier.

Yeh its a tough question, since its all down to personal preferences!

My first Capa was a '96 TAT II, then followed by a Horus, and two Angelus pros finish.

I'd have to say the TAT II since its:

    1) carved top & neck thru
    2) 25.5'
    3) thinish neck profile, very similar to a Jackson soloist
    4) Very cool hand-painted finish!! haha

The horus is a close second

The fat neck of the Angelus doesn't suit me at all. And it's shit heavy!! The pro finishes are one of the best though!

My JSM has been my favorite capa to play/to date.joel really nailed the specs on this badboy. Over the years ive owned 4 dellingers, a horus, and 3 angelus.

So far, I've only played my Horuses which are the best to me by far. I'm waiting for the arrival of my Angelus which should be another 2 days time, so I'll see how it goes. The Horus is an amazing guitar and by far one of the best guitars for shred work. Once you bond with it, the other guitars seem like toys to me. Just my 2 cents.

For me would be the best,if I could mix Delinger and Horus together.Which means Horus HGS in Delinger size.A bit bigger body bud Horus body shape and longer menzure
Caparison Delinger 7 FX WM Charcoal Black
    Caparison Horus HGS OW MF

My pro finish orbit feels a lot better than my CA dillinger as long as you are standing up. Having one volume knob also makes a huge difference when it comes to playing because it reduces the complexity. I would say that is optional. Some might like complex yet flexible ways to change their pickup configuration while others might like some simple yet limiting method.
