Eeyup. Gotta time it right, that's for sure. Trades and ebay; two best allies. That and Wolvy (is he still on here? haha) desperate to make some money ^.~

I am still here. And I am still desperate for money. I've only got 1 Capa now though, and I'm keeping that one.

Pity about DW Music. I did start to wonder when they lowered their prices on their current in stock Capas so much. Definitely seemed more like clearance prices than anything else.

Aussie dollar has dropped 30 cents since 2013, not surprised that a lot of companies are struggling.

There are 14 still listed on the DW site. For some reason they don't all show up unless you type "caparison" in the search bar. See link below. Also, I asked a US dealer about shipping, and due to their vendor agreement, they are not allowed so ship outside the US. Ridiculous.

Thankfully the AUD is awesome against the Yen. I have a friend who arranges purchases for me from Japanese music stores when I want things and the exchange rate means it's only about a 10% difference between Japanese pricing and Australian pricing.

I do have my eye on that CL12 Dillinger at DW...

    Hi all,
Just wondering if there is any news on the Aus dealer front? Those 2015 models look amazing, I'd love to be able to get one locally...

  9. Not currently, but we are on the lookout and open to recommendations.

    Well since you asked

    http://www.allansbillyhyde.com.au/
Allans Billy Hyde would be one of our largest country wide stores. They used to be two separate stores- Allans Music and Billy Hyde Music but merged in the last few years after both went into Administration.

Gallins now owns Allans Billy Hyde, however they are more focused in the North of the country.

Deluxe Guitars is a boutique retailer based only in Melbourne, but haven't been afraid to stock some high value instruments over the years.
