    Buying a Caparison from 1996.

Hi, I need help from experienced players.

Want to buy my first Caparison and have found a used Horus from 1996., apart from a few cosmetic scratches the guitar is in good condition, the neck, the sound, the frets, everything checks out.
But it's still a 20 year old guitar, what do you guys think? Is it worth the risk in your opinion? I can't try it out, it's in another country.

Also wanted to ask about those early necks, I am looking for a shorter scale guitar and a Horus fits perfectly in my opinion, but what about the neck thickness from those earlier models compared to now? How do those necks compare to let's say a Dean vmnt, or an Ibanez neck?

    Thx for the help

  2. Hi, the older models are usually very solid, as they all are.

The very early guitars have quite thin necks compared to some later models, the new ones are not "big" either, but not razor thin like some Ibanez necks.
