When you install the knob back on, make sure the screw is lined up with the split end of the shaft. Otherwise you will crush the shaft and your knob will by wobbly when it spins. Also, because this is a push push switch you can't set the knob all the way down on the shaft as you need some clearance for the push push switch to work. About 2-3mm clearance is all you need.

At this time you will probably have one long red power wire and one shorter one. Clip them both to the same length to make things easier. You'll still have plenty of length afterwards (I usually clip the longer one to match the shorter one and then tin the wires)

The battery clips. There's the original EMG supplied clip on the left and the two clips I plan on using for the actual installation. To install the EMGs on a Horus, you'll want to use the original stock output jack and so you if you don't have extra 9v battery clips lying around, you'll have to clip off the battery clip from the EMG supplied switch and use that. I'm using two clips wired in series for the 18V mod.

Pic of the ground side of the battery clip fed through the hole to the output jack cavity. You'll want to solder that black wire to the extra lug on the output jack. It's a little hard to get to so I actually bent the lug out a bit using a screw driver. Tin the lug and the wire to make your life easier.

Pic of the battery clip wired to the output jack(if you tinned both the wire and the lug on the output jack, this should only take 10 seconds or less. Otherwise be prepare to spend a good 5 minutes trying to get to it)

The two 9v's all wired up and ready to go. The Red power wires are soldered up and there's black electrical tape insulating the bare ends and also some electrical tape used to tie up the excess red power wires(could be any tape, I just used electrical tape 'cause it was handy).

NOTE: The cavity in a Horus actually accepts two 9v batteries stacked on top of each other.

Another view of the red wires taped up. You can see how nicely the two batteries stack on top of each other with no issues. Just make sure you're not squishing any wires underneat it. You should have plenty of room to route wires around it

Testing with a Digital Multi Meter to ensure that I'm getting a proper 18V's from ground to the end of the battery clips. If you're doing this mod you want to double check the battery wiring. Wiring it backwards could result in -9V which doesn't do anything for you.

THE END. Put some strings on, plug her in and shred away.

PS. I actually hate EMG's when it's running with the stock single 9v system. Using two batteries wired in series (18v mod), it really gives you a huge boost in tone, removing that compressed sterile sound and giving it much more of that dynamic passive pickup feel and a hell of a lot more bottom end.

Hey, what was that single coil mod you were talking about? I loooove the true single coil sound s I put one in my horus (the snow cloud you sold me!) is there a way to get a glassier tone out of it with that capacitor or 250k?

I remember that Snow Cloud, I really liked that one. As for the single coil thing, I'm guessing you mean my true-voice mod right? If you got a real single coil in the neck, it's probably too bright because of the stock 500k pot. You can replace the stock pot with a 250k pot but your humbucker would get too dark. My mod lets you keep the stock 500k pot but give the single coil the 250k load that it works better with. All you need is a 500k resistor running parallel to the pot.

I can probably sell you part plus the instructions for $10 or some sort of donation to the forum.
