What? You're not taking the $2,300? Even though that's a few hundred more than you paid for it in the beginning and before you swapped off the original neck.

Good luck with the sale, and hope you get what it's worth!
Big ****ing deal. There were like 3 or 4 Amber TATs in existence when I sold mine...it certainly didn't INCREASE in value. There are nothing but low numbers of every production model Caparison makes. Really doesn't mean a thing. Especially when you swap original parts off.

Oh yeah, and this:

And Morgray has or had one, and leftlanetheory had one too.

wow...just wow

Maybe if money was everything and I didn't attach to anything and I had a black soulless interior I would have sold it, and ya it was about $600 more than I paid for the walnut which was like $1700, I'll say I was a little surprised by the offer, I was more looking for a trade if someone had another cap with maple or even a top quality Ibanez 7 then I would probably have done it or if someone gave an offer I couldn't refuse with money which was almost the case with that 2300 offer.

You are saying facts that are already known, I don't really know why you are here. I was hoping this thread would have died long ago, but people kept posting so I just went with it.

You just can't handle that someone offered that much money and I guess its jealously that you couldn't sell your TAT Special with another username. You could have kept it you know, or not have bought it, or even as an alternative you could have kept the same username and tried to sell it with your original username.

And you are just on here, making arguments, providing links if the person couldn't see their original post, and ya we are just posting and posting and we all do realize how pointless these posts are, just neglecting other people if something good happens to them and talking down to the community and making assumptions, and ya...oh ya he dropped the offer too

Dumping on the thread that its too expensive is pointless, if noone wants it for 2300 or more, then noone will buy it. End of story.

Yeah I'm thinking the 10 is BS too as I have seen quite a few MF07's. As for $2300 I too think that price is outrageous and if you were offered it I would have taken it. Yes the guitar is rare, but it is essentially a mutt. Taking a guitar that cost $2000 or less new and swapping the neck from a rarer guitar IMO does not make for a more valuable guitar. A cool one for sure, but not rare as it is not original. Now if it was an artist custom that would be a different story. I mean I have a maple boarded HGS and a Scarab. If I put the maple board on my Scarab it would probably be the only maple boarded scarab in existance, but IMO the swap would ruin the value of both guitars. Or at least it should.

This. Although I do feel that we should probably stop clogging this thread with arguments, seeing as it is the Guitars and Gear for sale thread.

And one more note on the MF07 quantity issue - don't a lot of Caparisons go directly back into the Japanese market? And if there are at least 6 or 7 in the US right now, then that wouldn't really make any sense.
