History behind Caparison Guitars
This article is to present a good understanding on the background and history behind Caparison Guitars (parent company Kyowa-Shokai, a trading company). The information presented here is based on the many tidbits of factual information gathered over the years, but will contain sections which is solely based on speculation. As I am NOT a spokesperson for Caparison Guitars, I cannot guarantee the validity of all the information presented here, but I will/have done my best to present everything as factual as possible.
Brief Company info:
Company Name: Caparison Guitars & Caparison Guitars DESIGN
Founded in: 1995 by Mr. Itaru Kanno
Production Capacity: Actual numbers not know. Estimated to be approx ~40-50 guitars/month.
Parent Company: Kyowa-Shokai (trading company). Currently also the parent company behind BC Rich Guitars in Japan as well as the former company behind Jackson guitars in Japan.
